The Carona Phone is an innovative solution to carpooling that brings a new technological concept in sustainable mobility with a focus on urban rides, daily and real-time access.
His proposal is to transform the experience of coming and going of people, connecting those who offer and those seeking ride through the application allowing instant communication and access to information of users who have the same path in order to provide greater social interaction and sustainable mobility.
The Carona Phone provides greater security in carpooling for your well-being first. For this, access is done via the facebook login and all public information (photo, name and mutual friends) are shared with users. In addition, the offer or hitchhike the person is evaluated, and those with low scores are blocked. From the score, the assigned number of free riders and acquired hitchhikers is generated a ranking classification of users.
To offer a ride:
• In the first access register a vehicle;
• Enter the destination and departure time;
• The system will display the most efficient route options, just choose one and click continue;
• Set a name for the ride, the number of vacancies, the tags and go!
• Now just wait for the requests of hitchhikers!
To get ride:
• Access the application and click search ride;
• A carpooling list originated near you will be displayed, simply select one or search for origin and destination in the filter tab;
• Then click the ride request button, a request is sent to the driver and he is alerted instantly;
• Now just wait for the acceptance of the request;
• Although not a member of the ride, you can talk to the driver and passengers via chat;
• You will receive an alert if it is accepted into the ride!
